Zihguan, which located nearly the western coast of Kaohsiung City, was one of the five “Hepatitis C Villages” in Taiwan. The Medical System of Kaohsiung Medical University and Taiwan Liver Research Foundation combined the local community to set up a “Love Liver Alliance” and pushing hepatitis C annihilation activities. On March 11th, the “Zihguan x KMU Hepatitis C Integrated Care Center” is opened, and this is the first case that extends the special medical service to the fishing village, and also the first one continuing the local screening and prevention mode.
